Keep away from sources of ignition - NO SMOKING.

In case of fire use dry powder, carbon dioxide, foam or earth.  Never use water.

7.  APPLICATION

7.1 Preparation

Surfaces must be clean, sound, dry and free from dust and any loose material. Paint should be removed where the adhesive will make contact.  New concrete or plaster should be allowed adequate time to dry and porous or friable surfaces should first be primed with a dilute solution of contact adhesive and allowed to dry.

7.2 Application

Trim the nozzle to the desired angle/bead size, and puncture the internal seal at base of nozzle with a long nail/rod.  Using an extruder gun, apply a continuous bead approximately 6 mm (¼ inch) diameter.  Press surfaces firmly together immediately.

Bonding Flat Panels - Apply a bead around the edge of the panel (50 mm from the edge) and in horizontal lines at approximately 450 mm centres.  Press the panel firmly to the wall to ensure adequate transfer and leave to set.  A firm bond is achieved in one hour.

NB. If the panel is warped apply the adhesive as described and then press the panel firmly to the wall surface and pull away immediately.  This will achieve an adhesive transfer and allow solvent evaporation.  After 10-20 minutes the panel may then be bonded into position and a contact bond achieved.
