1. DESCRIPTION

Antel Rendermix is a liquid waterproofing admixture for use in rendering after the insertion of a chemical damproof course.  The action of this material is two fold as it acts to waterproof the render and also contains a biocide which acts as a safe and effective control against moss, lichen and algae and prevents further outbreaks of fungal growth.

2.5 litre 5 litre  and 25 litre plastic containers

4.  USAGE RATE

Dilute 1 part  Rendermix to 40 parts fresh clean water, use as gauging water. (1:40)
In areas where there is a high salt migration the dilution rate should be 1:20

5.  STORAGE

Keep in cool dry ventilated storage in the original containers.  Protect from freezing.  Keep out of reach of children.  

6.  PREPARATION/APPLICATION

The surface to be treated must be free from all forms of contamination and the surface to be treated must be made sound.  Rake out all mortar joints to a depth of at least 12 mm.

For internal rendering dampen down the substrate to reduce suction.
 

Apply a first coat of render at a thickness of 10 mm.  After the initial set, scratch the surface well to provide a sound key for the second coat.
 

Apply the second coat to a depth of 10 mm.

7.   HEALTH & SAFETY

Harmful by inhalation.  Remove the exposed person to fresh air immediately.   Seek medical attention if any discomfort continues.  If in contact with the eyes flush with water for at least 15 minutes and obtain medical attention should irritation persist.  Wash contaminated skin immediately with hand cleaner, soap and water.  Harmful if taken internally B seek medical attention immediately.  DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING.  It is recommended that suitable protective clothing be worn i.e. gloves and eye/face protection.
