1.  DESCRIPTION

Antel Waterproofer is a liquid waterproofing admixture for use in renderings.  The action of this material is two fold in that the pores of the hardened render are made water resistant and the addition of this admixture reduces the amount of water used in the mix thus making the final render more dense and thus increasing the resistance to water.

2.  USAGE RATE

Dilute 1 part Waterproofer to 30 parts fresh clean water.  Use as gauging water. (1:30)

3.  PACKAGING        

2.5 litre, 5 litre and 25 litre non returnable containers.

4.  COLOUR  

Pink.

5.  HANDLING & STORAGE

Handling:   Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.  Use PVC gloves & goggles.

Storage:    Store in cool, dry, ventilated conditions in original containers away from sunlight.  Protect from freezing.  Keep out of reach of children.

6.  PREPARATION / APPLICATION

The surface to be treated must be free from all forms of contamination and must be made sound.  Rake out all mortar joints to a depth of at least 12 mm.

For internal rendering dampen down the substrate to reduce suction.

Apply a first coat of render at a thickness of 10 mm.  After the initial set, scratch the surface well to provide a sound key for the second coat.

Apply the second coat to a depth of 10 mm.

If plastering is then required the second coat should be slightly scratched to provide a sound key.

7.  HEALTH & SAFETY

Harmful by inhalation.  Remove the exposed person to fresh air immediately.  Seek medical attention if any discomfort persists.  If in contact with the eyes flush with water for at least 15 minutes and obtain medical attention should irritation persist.  Wash contaminated skin immediately with hand cleaner, soap and water.  Harmful if taken internally - seek medical attention immediately.   DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING
