Brickwork Cleaner

DESCRIPTION
Antel
Brickwork Cleaner is a blend of acid and non ionic wetting agents,
specially designed for the rapid solubilisation of hydraulic
cements. The product
provides for the effective, efficient and easy cleaning of all
brickwork, concrete spillage and plant.
It
removes the surface contamination and restores the surface to its
original shade.
2.
USES
For
the removal of mortar stains, concrete runs, hardened concrete
from cement mixers, wheelbarrows, shovels, shuttering, scaffolding
etc. Also can be used
for the general cleaning of brickwork, tile, concrete and stone
surfaces. Also
ideally suitable for cleaning asbestos tiles.

PACKAGING
5
litre and 25 litre non returnable containers.
4.
STORAGE
Store
in cool, dry, well ventilated conditions in original containers.
Protect from freezing.
Keep
out of reach of children.
Shelf
life - indefinite.

USAGE RATE
Coverage
is approximately 20 -
30 square metres per 5 litres dependent on the porosity of the
surface and the degree of contamination.

Antel
Brickwork Cleaner has an acid base and much care must be taken as
imitation to the skin and eyes can occur.
It is harmful by inhalation and irritating to the
respiratory tract. If
in contact with the eyes flush with water for at least 15 minutes
and obtain medical attention urgently.
Prolonged or repeated contact with the skin can cause
severe irritation. Wash
contaminated skin immediately.
Harmful
if taken internally - seek medical attention immediately.
DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Keep containers tightly closed when
not in use. Wear
suitable protective clothing when in use.
Do
not let washing down water contaminate ponds or waterways.
Keep
out of reach of children.
7.
SURFACE PREPARATION &
APPLICATION
Brickwork
Initially
it may be necessary to remove concrete spillage by chipping taking
care to avoid damaging the surface.
Stubborn mortar stains may require wire brushing whilst the
cleaner is on the surface.
Concrete
Plant.
If
concrete/cement is hardened it may be necessary to wire brush
whilst the cleaner is on the surface or alternatively remove the
excess prior to application taking care to avoid damaging the
surface.
Application
The
cleaner should be applied and washed off after a few minutes.
Long periods should not pass between application and
washing off, especially in hot weather.
Do not allow the cleaner to dry on the surface.
Residual
staining is often due to inadequate washing down.
Brickwork.
Apply
liberally to contaminated surfaces by
brush. Leave
for a few minutes and then wash off with clean, cold water,
preferably by hose. Always
try a test patch first to ensure no attack on the mortar joints
occur. If attack does
happen, dilute the cleaner with clean cold water.
Concrete
Plant
Apply
liberally to contaminated surfaces by
brush. Leave
for a few minutes then thoroughly wash off with clean cold water,
preferably by hose. Subsequent
treatment with mould oil or grease will prevent rust reforming.
Do
not use on non ferrous metals such as galvanised, zinc, aluminium
etc.
