INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
6.1
PREPARATION.
Antel
Salt Arrest is designed to prevent salt migration through building
masonry. It must be
applied to the base of masonry and not to renders or coatings
applied to masonry.
Remove
all forms of contamination and any weak material prior to
application.
6.2
MIXING.
Open
both containers taking care not to damage the screw thread of the
rectangular tin. Remove
the inner seal of the larger tin.
Pour the entire contents of the smaller container into the
larger one and replace the lid tightly.
Shake the container vigorously for about five minutes.
6.3
APPLICATION.
Application
is best carried out using a brush.
The mixed material should be flooded onto the prepared
surface and worked well in.
Apply each application until refusal.
Do not allow the previous application to dry before
applying further material. Continue
applications until the surface will not accept any more material.
6.4
DECORATION.
If
required further decoration or protective coatings can be applied
to the treated areas. This
action is best carried out within two days of the treatment.
6.5
POT LIFE
The
mixed material has a very long pot life and can be used up to two
days after mixing provided that the container is kept resealed
after taking out enough product for each application.
