PREPARATION
Surfaces
must be free of all loose and flaking paint, dust, dirt, laitance
or grease. It is most
important that surfaces are properly prepared.
Iron or steel must be wire brushed to produce a bright
finish. Surfaces may
be damp but not wet.

container taking care that ALL the product is added.
Mix thoroughly with a paint mixer or a hand held electric
drill or with a paint paddle.
8.3
APPLICATION
The
mixed material should be applied as soon after mixing as possible,
using a brush or a roller. The
coverage should be as thick as the level of protection required.
The thicker the coat the better the level of protection.
Further coats may be applied as soon as the previous coat
is tack free. If
rendering or screeding after the final coat a quantity of 3 mm
granite chippings should be pressed into the surface before the
coating has cured. Apply
the chippings at a rate of 4 - 6 kilos per square metre.
