These products contain epoxy resin and hardeners which are known to cause skin irritation to some people.  Wear protective clothing and wash well on completion of each session of work.  The STANDARD and FLEXIBLE grades contain solvents and must only be used in well ventilated areas.

Should the fluid come into contact with the skin it must be washed off promptly.  If in contact with the eyes flush copiously with cold water and seek medical attention.

Please refer to the safety data sheet for complete information.

8.   INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE.

8.1 PREPARATION

Surfaces must be free of all loose and flaking paint, dust, dirt, laitance or grease.  It is most important that surfaces are properly prepared.   Iron or steel must be wire brushed to produce a bright finish.  Surfaces may be damp but not wet.

8.2 MIXING

Empty the entire contents of the smaller container into the larger container taking care that ALL the product is added.  Mix thoroughly with a paint mixer or a hand held electric drill or with a paint paddle.

8.3 APPLICATION

The mixed material should be applied as soon after mixing as possible, using a brush or a roller.  The coverage should be as thick as the level of protection required.  The thicker the coat the better the level of protection.  Further coats may be applied as soon as the previous coat is tack free.  If rendering or screeding after the final coat a quantity of 3 mm granite chippings should be pressed into the surface before the coating has cured.  Apply the chippings at a rate of 4 - 6 kilos per square metre.
