DESCRIPTION
Antel
Timber Preservative/Repellent is specially formulated for the
remedial industry. It
has a dual acting system, a deep acting timber preservative
together with an extremely effective fungicide which activates
itself in the presence of moisture.
This
product is approved under the 'Control of Pesticides Regulations
1986' - HSE 4848.
Contains
Tri Hexylene Glycol Biborate 4.3% w/w

USES
As
a pre treatment for timber. Its
repellent qualities protect against moisture ingress whilst in
transit or when finished joinery is being stored on site prior to
installation.

litre, 25 litre or 200 litre non returnable containers.

USAGE RATE
Dipping

As required
Brush

1 litre will cover 7 mē (depending on absorption)
Spray
-
1 litre will cover 4-5 mē (depending on absorption)

HANDLING & STORAGE
Handling:
Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.
Use PVC
gloves, goggles, respirator, protective
overalls
and footwear.
Storage:
Store in cool dry conditions in original
containers away from sunlight.
Protect from freezing.
Keep out of reach of children.

Life: 12 months
6.
MIXING
Shake
contents thoroughly before use.
7.
APPLICATION
Application
may be by brush or spray.
Immersion
in a 'dip tank' should be for approximately
3 - 5 minutes.
For
coloured solutions Antel Basecoat is recommended.
Surfaces
to be treated should be reasonably dry.
Any paint, varnish or other surface coating should be
removed. Although
Antel Timber Preservative/Repellent contains solvent it has
virtually no odour once the solvent carrier has evaporated, which
is approximately 36 - 48 hours at standard temperature and
pressure.
