Silicone Sealant Low
Modulus
Technical Data Sheet
1.
DESCRIPTION
Antel
Low Modulus Silicone Sealant is a one part flexible silicone
sealant self priming to most construction materials.
2.
USES
Can
be used for a wide range of applications including sealing
expansion and control joints in precast concrete panels and metal
curtain walls, non structural glazing systems, perimeter sealing
if doors, widow frames and panels.
Its hygienic surface when cured makes it particularly
suitable for use in refrigeration systems.
Suitable
for P V C widow frames and panels.
3.
PACKAGING
310
ml plastic cartridge complete with nozzle.
Packaged 12 per box.
4.

Previously opened cartridges may be used by simply removing
the cured plug of sealant from the top of the nozzle.
6.
HEALTH & SAFETY
On
contact, uncured silicone will irritate the eyes.
In case of contact, remove the sealant and flush eyes
thoroughly with water.
If irritation persists seek medical attention.
Avoid prolonged or repeated skin contact.
Until fully cured silicone releases acetic acid.
Ensure adequate ventilation during application.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
7.
LIMITATIONS
Not
recommended for joints where abrasion or physical abuse are
encountered.
Do
not apply to building materials that bleed oils, plasticisers or
solvents.
Do
not use in totally confined spaces as atmospheric moisture is
required for the curing process.
Do
not apply to surfaces which are to be painted as the sealants
subsequent movements will cause the paint film to crack
