1. DESCRIPTION

Antel Deepkill Paste is one of the range of timber treatments especially formulated for the remedial industry, to provide a material for the effective treatment of woodboring insects and fungal attack in timber.

The product as supplied contains Permethrin and a blend of Dodecylamine Salicylate and Dodecylamine Lactate in an oil carrier, with emulsifiers, viscosity modifiers and skinning agents.

2.   USES

Designed especially for treatment of in situ timbers suffering from insect and fungal attack.

3.   PACKAGING  

10 kgs non returnable plastic containers.

4.   USAGE RATE 

0.3 kg per 30 cm square. (3/4 lb per cubic foot.)

5.   STORAGE    

Deepkill Paste is flammable.  Store in secure, cool, dry ventilated storage in the original containers.  Protect from freezing.  Keep out of reach of children.  

6.   APPLICATION

Apply the Deepkill Paste by trowel/brush or gun.  The paste will continue to penetrate until total saturation of the timber is effected.  Complete saturation ensures protection against reinfestation for many years.  All timbers, even those of large section i.e. 30 cm x 30 cm can be successfully treated using the correct loading amount

7.    HEALTH & SAFETY

The product is flammable.

Inhalation hazard is low in normal use but may cause nausea, headaches or dizziness.  Irritating to eyes and skin.  Precautions are necessary in handling and application, to avoid bodily contact due to splashing, spillage or leakage.  The normal precautions (use of goggles/visor, gloves, protective clothing and the prompt removal of contaminated clothing) should be observed with particular rigour.   Should the fluid come in contact with the skin it must be washed off promptly.  If in contact with the eyes flush with water for at least 15 minutes and obtain medical attention.
